PFNA Added to the List of Chemicals Known to the State of California to Cause Reproductive Toxicity for Purposes of Proposition 65

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) recently added perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA) and its salts to the list of chemicals known to the State of California to cause reproductive toxicity for purposes of Proposition 65. OEHHA had previously announced a public meeting and comment period back in October before the listing decision was made that became effective on December 31, 2021. – – PFNA is a man-made compound that has been used in a number of products over the years….
