Thousands of Imported Toys Recalled by a California Company Due to Phthalate and Lead Concerns

Last month, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall of over 22,000 children's butterfly net sets and more than 4,000 action figure playsets due to exposure concerns to phthalates and lead. The toys, imported from China by a company based in California, have also been recalled in Canada.
